The Clive Barker library comprises one element of the college's LRC (Learning Resource Centre). The aim of the library at Rose Bruford College is to support the educational mission of the college by providing and promoting access to resources appropriate to the current and anticipated teaching, learning and research of the College community. In addition the library aims to preserve the intellectual and cultural history of the college.

More specifically the library aims to:

enable access to materials to support the teaching and learning of the College;
enable library users to become more effective, independent and information literate researchers;
support and encourage users in their educational development;
support the research interests of the college community;
support the widening participation initiatives of the College;
maintain and preserve an archive of the College's history and development.
